"At the temple there is a poem called 'Loss' carved into the stone. The poem has three words but the poet has scratched them out. You cannot read loss, only feel it."

Today is the first anniversary of my mother's passing. I can't believe it's been a year. hell I don't believe she's gone all the time to begin with. When my phone rings sometimes I still think it's her calling somehow.

I'm not sure what to say. I don't really feel like opening up and gushing about my sorrows on here. and I can't base my life on the past- I have to base it on the future. I have to smile and keep going.
