Deviously In Love

I love DeviantArt. yup. plain and simple <3

So last night around 1am after getting home from a grueling night at work, I cracked and finally signed up for a subscription on here :) I have since been learning about CSS coding for my journal on here and have been diligently working on a layout for my journal. I stayed up until past 5am working on some and at 5:30am while tugging on my hair I gave up. I browsed DevArt relentlessly in search of free journal codes. I found several that I enjoyed and gave some a test run, but in the end I still wasn't really satisfied. So this afternoon I went back to the drawing board and tried again at my own designs. I have since designed two layouts ^_^ and I am very happy now :D lol I'm such a goof. I like this one the best, even though blue isn't my color, I like it for it's simplicity. I learned how to use my own photos to add to the journal and am very happy with the results, you can view my first journal layout here: [link] I like it but I felt that after cropping and playing with the photo so much it became to grainy for my taste. This was a great process though, so rewarding. And I discovered going through my photography that I apparently have a thing for taking photos of birds in flight, I didn't really realize it until after browsing through my stuff on my computer I will have to post more; I think I have a knack for it :D

Another exciting event is that after my endless nagging, my brother is finally going to join DeviantArt. I'm really excited to be able to introduce him to everyone on here, he's the kid that actually went to art school and is just incredible, but he needs a good nudge to see this lol. After he gets an account up and running I'll write a nice introduction and feature :aww:

And I still can't my mood on here and I've noticed that no one else can either :confused: I will look into this once I get back from dinner with my fam.

Lets do a feature :) why not? haha

=ShiftingWaterz and ~wolfbane652 are a Sister/Brother duo that all of you should be watching! I think Taylor's portrait photography skills are my favorite on DeviantArt, and they are both just beautiful people :aww:

YAY! You got a subbie! I had one once.... dunno where I put it. :P

Glad to see you enjoying the perks of having a subscription. I liked it myself... just can't seem to get one going for very long. :(

i changed my css when i saw my page on a wider monitor
u might want 2 c what yrs looks like on other peoples monitors

very true. I'll hope on my brother's computer in a little bit, he has a hugemongus monitor. I feel like I already have an idea of how it looks on a large monitor,... since my picture size is small it probably makes it look odd.

my image looked great in my header on my monitor and was just a tiny little thing when i saw it on some1 elses i made up making a image that was repeatable for the header just extra long would work too
not that there's anything wrong with smaller and centered

well.. I took a look on my brother's computer. and I am fine with the size of everything... however, the color on his is a lot different. his is very, very blue and on my screen it's a light gray/blue which is much easier on the eyes.. that kind of sucks.. Ding!!! lol instant ding. he has internet explore and I use mozilla firefox. so I can assume that is the variation in the color. hmm. :confused: Did you have any suggestions on the size or layout?

i think the colors are just variations in monitors
thats my assumption anyway

im really pretty stupid when it comes to CSS
some people do amazing things but im happy to do something passable lol
